He is an award-winning poet and the author of numerous collections, including Journey Ongoing (2023). Michael has an especial interest in creative collaboration, including compositional co-creation and synergistic performance that harmonizes haiku with other modes of expression and connection.Since 1984, Tracy Root's paintings have been exhibited in solo and group shows, and she has been a full-time artist since 1995. A retrospective exhibition of her artworks, titled Chapters Now Through Four and curated by Tavis Lea, was presented in 2024 at the Thames Art Gallery, Chatham, Ontario. She currently works from her home studio, creating expressive paintings of human and nature forms that are distinguished by vibrant colours and strong brushstrokes.
