Designed in conjunction with proven shred-lord Ritchie Rude the team at Yeti have crafted the next big mountain race machine, the SB160 has a clear focus - first place finishes

Pushing the performance even further this latest. honed and refined iteration of the big travel 29" wheel enduro bike now makes use of 160mm of rear travel and keeps 170mm travel out front. The suspension platform is based around Yeti's own two-piece wishbone shock extender linkage and the famed, newly recalculated, Fox/Yeti Switch Infinity. 

Yeti C-Series frames use a different carbon lay-up to the Turq spec frames. At the sacrifice of a little extra weight this makes the SB160 available at a lower price point. All geometry numbers are the same and the frames aesthetic beauty is not affected at all(it really is difficult to show in pictures the sublime level of detail put into every Yeti frame).

The Yeti 160 C-Series build kit boasts some of the mountain biking industry's most loved and reliable components. Fox Performance 38 fork and Float X shock, with the newly updated Switch Infinity, handle suspension duty. SRAM GX 1x12 speed drivetrain is an industry favourite and SRAM Code R brakes are renown for reliability and power. Tough DT Swiss E1900 wheelset wearing rider favourite Maxxis Assegai/Minion DHR II tyre combo keep you in contact with the planet and grip levels high. Capping off this awesome build is a OneUp dropper seatpost, Burgtec handlebar, Burgtec stem and WTB saddle.

SWITCH INFINITY - 

Switch Infinity utilizes a patented translating pivot that switches direction as the bike moves through its travel. This provides a tailored anti-squat curve while delivering a fine-tuned leverage ratio

Switch Infinity decouples chain forces from suspension forces incredibly effectively. In the beginning and mid-section of travel – when Switch Infinity moves up – a relatively flat and high anti-squat curve ­creates an efficient pedalling platform through the entire pedalling zone. As a result, suspension performs consistently and predictably. When Switch Infinity reverses direction, anti-squat drastically drops for freedom of suspension movement
