Composition:
Extracts of hops (Humulus lupulus), milk thistle (Carduus marianus) and chasteberry (Agnus castus). Diluted extract of sweet marjoram (Origanum majorana). Alcohol 35% v/v.

Properties per ingredient: Hop (Humulus lupulus) contains flavonoids, tannins, phenolic acids, and estrogenic components. Hop acts as an aphrodisiac (a substance that inhibits libido). Traditionally, people used hop to treat irritability and agitation.

Milk thistle (Carduus marianus) has a positive effect on liver function. In Chinese medicine, the genitals and the associated intense emotions are traced back to liver energy. This is particularly relevant in cases of increased arousal due to the proximity of bitches in heat, cats in heat, or nursing mothers.

Chasteberry (Agnus castus) The Dutch name for *Vitex agnus-castus*, monnikspeper (monk's pepper), refers to the medieval monks' practice of chewing the dried berries to reduce libido and thus better fulfill their vows of celibacy. The Latin name "Agnus castus" also alludes to its effect on libido, being a combination of the Latin "castitas" (chastity) and the Greek "agnos" (pure) and the Latin "agnus" (lamb). Chasteberry contains antioxidants and flavonoids.

True marjoram (Origanum majorana), a dilution of which is the standard remedy for increased libido, is also beneficial for prostate function.
Dosage and application: Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor or therapist, 1-2 times daily:

Dog 5-10 drops

Cat 3-5 drops

Rabbit 3-5 drops

1 ml = 20 drops

The product can be given directly or with a little water using a plastic spoon or syringe. Alternatively, it can be dripped onto something tasty. Administer PUUR Geslachtsdrift at least half an hour before or after a meal, so that it can be absorbed by the clean mucous membrane of the mouth.

The treatment duration is 3-6 weeks.

The medication should take effect after about 3 days to a week. If there is no noticeable effect, the dose can be increased to a maximum of double the dosage.

PUUR Geslachtsdrift can be used without any problems in combination with other medications. In rare cases, an harmless and short-lived worsening of the symptoms may occur at the beginning of taking the drops. This indicates that the animal is responding intensively to the remedy. If this worsening is bothersome, you should halve the recommended dose for your animal or skip a dose. If you suspect a side effect, please report it to your veterinarian or therapist.

Instructions for use
See a veterinarian if you suspect prostate problems; symptoms include small drops of blood from the penis and excessive straining during bowel movements. Also, see a veterinarian if there is no improvement after 3 weeks. Avoid contact with female dogs in heat, female cats in heat, or nursing mothers as much as possible.

Treatment duration
In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary from a few days to 3 weeks. Continue administering this product for a few more days even if you see improvement.

For prolonged discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. If there is improvement, a maintenance dose can be used. This is usually half the dose indicated on the packaging. When dosing this product, carefully monitor the animal's reaction. A higher dose may be necessary initially; this product can be safely administered at double the dose. Gradually reduce the dose to the lowest possible level.

This product can be given continuously. It is advisable to take a break for one week after every 6 to 8 weeks. This allows the 'stimulus' to be offered again after the break. Resume treatment immediately if necessary.

Save
Avoid direct sunlight and store this product dry and at a temperature between 5-20°C. Keep out of reach of children. The expiration date is indicated on the label and the box.

Side effects
To date, no side effects of this product have been known or reported.

With some dilutions and extracts, a short-term worsening may occur at the start of treatment. This means that the animal is reacting to the product. In case of a serious increase, halve the dosage or stop temporarily and then gradually increase it again.
