Mary Shelley: Frankenstein: or The Modern Prometheus (English Edition)

Mary Shelley's Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus - selected by the BBC as one of the 100 Novels That Shaped Our World - is the timeless tale of a young scientist who creates life and recoils in horror at his own work. The abandoned creature turns against its maker, and their struggle unfolds across icy landscapes and shadowed laboratories. Blending Gothic terror with deep philosophical reflection, Shelley's masterpiece explores ambition, responsibility, and the limits of human progress. Mary Shelley's Frankenstein is still widely studied and referenced today.
