Gully Ice Axe

Ultra-lightweight and purpose-built for technical mountaineering and steep skiing. The GULLY is Petzl's most compact technical ice axe — extremely lightweight, highly technical, and designed to exceed expectations on everything from steep couloirs to technical alpine routes. A tapered steel re-curve pick tapering to 3mm at the tip delivers excellent placements and easy removal, while the curved shaft and grooved grip provide comfortable, secure handling in both piolet-canne and climbing positions. The TRIGREST hand rest adjusts to climbing mode quickly and without tools, and a low-profile adze or hammer handles snow clearing and piton work. Optional head weights improve penetration in very hard ice when the situation demands it.

At just 275g with the adze, the GULLY disappears on your harness or pack — a 45cm shaft with a beveled spike means it carries cleanly without damaging your bag.
