Aquatic Arts Mixed Fruit Leaf Botanical Pack (Mango, Guava, Banana & Jackfruit) - Dried Botanicals

Discover one of our new favorites — the Aquatic Arts Mixed Fruit Leaf Botanical Pack, a vibrant blend of four tropical leaves that each bring unique benefits to your aquarium. This curated mix conditions your water naturally, supports biofilm development, and adds stunning visual variety to your aquascape.

Each pack includes 3 of each leaf type (12 leaves total), giving you the perfect balance of tannin release, texture, and longevity.

We love this blend — and we know you will too!

What’s Inside & Why It Matters:

• Mango Leaves (Mangifera indica) – Slowly release beneficial tannins and trace compounds that encourage beneficial bacterial growth. These sturdy leaves last for weeks while adding natural character to your aquascape.

• Guava Leaves (Psidium guajava) – Naturally antibacterial and antifungal, guava leaves help maintain healthy water conditions and support shrimp vitality. They lightly tint the water and promote a stable bioactive environment.

• Banana Leaves (Musa spp.) – Soft and quick to decompose, banana leaves are a favorite for shrimp and fry tanks. They encourage rich biofilm growth and release gentle tannins that foster healthy microfauna populations.

• Jackfruit Leaves (Artocarpus heterophyllus) – Known for their higher tannin content and thick texture, jackfruit leaves condition the water while replicating the natural blackwater habitats of tropical species.

Features We Love:

• Four Botanical Favorites: A balanced mix of mango, guava, banana, and jackfruit leaves.
• Tannin Variety: Layers different leaf types for staggered tannin release and visual depth.
• Supports Biofilm: Promotes natural biofilm growth essential for shrimp, snails, and fry.
• Natural Water Conditioning: Softens water and releases beneficial humic substances.

If you’re looking for even richer tannin coloration or softer water, use this pack alongside our Aquatic Arts Tannin Tea Bags — the perfect pairing for creating beautiful, debris-free blackwater conditions.

Usage:

Rinse the leaves before adding them to your aquarium. Start with 1–2 of each type per 10 gallons of water and adjust based on your desired tint or aesthetic.

You can leave the leaves in place as they soften and gradually decompose—many aquarists enjoy the natural look and the habitat benefits this provides for shrimp, snails, and microfauna. Remove or replace only if you prefer a tidier appearance.

Ideal For:

• Shrimp, snail, and small community tanks

• Blackwater and botanical-style aquariums

• Breeding setups for softwater species

• Terrariums and paludariums as natural décor and humidity holders

ARTS in Action:
