The K-1 kids binding from Ride has everything you would want in a binding, lightweight and durable chassis, one-piece ankle strap, and minimalist toe strap. These have all the technology and materials that you find in the adult version but come available in kids sizing.
Why we like it:
The K-1 binding from Ride has everything your little shredder needs to progress. Built to last with the same materials as the adult version but with a more forgiving flex and smaller sizes.
Who it's for:
The K-1 bindings would be good for kids of all abilities looking to ride anywhere on the mountain.
Highlights:
The K-1 is built with a lightweight durable chassis and minimalist straps that can be adjusted to grow with your kid. Adjustments are easy and require no tools so they can be adjusted on the fly as needed. A softer flexing nylon high back makes them forgiving and easy for any rider.
Things to consider:
The softer high back on the K-1 can lack some responsiveness that you get with a stiffer biding but are ideal for lightweight riders. These only come in small or medium sizes but can be adjusted to accommodate them as they grow.
Fit & sizing considerations:
The K-1 binding comes in small and medium sizes to fit kids US boots from size 4-10.
